An eight-year-old Iranian boy has reunited with his classmates in China after more than a month without contact during rising tensions in Iran. The emotional moment was captured on video and quickly spread online.

The boy, named Radin, had been studying in Shaoxing before traveling to Iran with his family. The trip was planned to be short, but it became much longer than expected as the situation in Iran grew unstable. Communication and travel were affected, leaving the family cut off.

Weeks without contact

Earlier this year, Radin traveled to Iran with his father. Before leaving, he told his teachers he would return soon. However, as tensions increased, the school lost all contact with him and his family.

For 42 days, there was no news. The teachers attempted to contact the family without success. His classmates too got worried! Some asked why he had not returned, while others feared something bad had happened. Relief came when the school finally learned through a friend that the family was safe. Soon after, Radin and his parents managed to return to China.

Emotional classroom reunion

The reunion took place when Radin walked back into his classroom. His classmates soon came running to hug him and smile. A video shows the children surrounding him, clearly happy to see him again.

Some students hugged him tightly, while others stood close, excited and relieved. The moment showed how much they had missed him during his absence. Radin’s mother later said the family hopes he will continue his education in China. She also expressed hope that conditions in Iran will improve soon.

The story of Radin’s return has drawn attention because of the long period of silence and the strong emotions during the reunion. After weeks of uncertainty, the young boy was finally back where he belonged, surrounded by his classmates once again.
