Rising Tensions and Ongoing Ceasefire Challenges

On April 8, US President Donald Trump announced a two-week truce with Iran to allow space for negotiations aimed at reaching an agreement to end the crisis, before later extending it.
Since then, Tehran has restricted traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, while the US has maintained a blockade of Iranian ports, despite the ceasefire agreement.
