Before Stepping Out, He Shares a Moment with Late Wife—A Love That Lives On
Facebook

There is no single rule for how people deal with grief after losing a loved one. In an emotional video shot in Singapore, an old man stands in front of his wife’s photo every day before leaving the house and talks to her. He still tells her everything before leaving as if he were informing her.

Although the scene is very simple, it hides a story of deep love and habit. This moment has touched many hearts because it shows that the bond of relationship does not end completely even after death.

Memories of Love

In the video, the old man slowly approaches his wife’s photo and stands there for a while to talk. Basically he was going out with his daughter to have some food. After talking to the photo, he calmly leaves, as if following a daily routine. This habit may have been formed from the memories of many years of being together.

So it is not easy for him to suddenly change that habit. Rather, this small act keeps him mentally strong. This shows that love often lives in habit.

Differences in Grief

The way people express grief is different for each person. Some remain silent, while others seek comfort by talking to their memories. Although this old man’s behavior seems strange to many, many see it as normal. According to many, as long as it is not harmful, he should be allowed to be himself.

Rather, it can be a way of his mental peace. This approach allows him to understand grief in a more humane way.

Netizens’ Feelings

Many people were moved by this scene. Some said that their family also had such experiences where the habit of speaking in the same way was formed after losing a loved one.

Others think that this is a sign of deep love, which does not fade with time. However, some people said that at some point in life, it is necessary to learn to let go.

Still, most think that there is no harm in this behavior, but rather it reveals the strength of human emotions.
