A group of tourists had an unusual and exciting moment during a safari trip in Georgia. While driving through a wildlife park, they came very close to a large water buffalo. The encounter happened suddenly and was recorded on video, showing how curious the animal was.

The visit took place at Pine Mountain Safari, a place where visitors can see animals from their own cars. The group was moving slowly along a dirt road when the buffalo walked toward them. Instead of staying far away, the animal came right up to the driver’s side window and stopped.
A Close Encounter
The water buffalo is a powerful animal and has long, curved horns and thick, dark hair. As it approached the car, it snouted its big nose against the glass. Its face was in a plain view of the people within. The scene was unexpected due to the size of the animal.

The buffalo became more interested after some time. It pouted its mouth and licked the window a couple of times with its long tongue. The window was wet, and the visitors were surprised. The animal was not aggressive and kept quiet.
Calm Interaction
One visitor slowly offered a small piece of food. The buffalo took it meekly with his tongue. This meant that it was used to being in the company of man. Although it was far bigger than the car, it was moving slowly and in a controlled manner.

People find the moment funny and entertaining, joking that the buffalo wanted a treat. Many feel amused by its behavior, seeing it as playful, curious, and unexpectedly friendly rather than dangerous.
Other animals like zebras and deer also walk freely around the park. Visitors can see them up close during the drive. The buffalo stayed near the car for a few minutes before walking away to explore another area.
Safety Rules
All visitors are reminded of safety regulations by the staff of the park. Visitors have to remain in their vehicles and not move abruptly. These measures aid in securing humans and animals in their close interactions.

The group later remembered the moment as one of the most interesting parts of their trip. Although cleaning the window, it was still a special experience for all the people in the car.
