A male student at OP Jindal Global University in Haryana’s Sonipat district, India, was caught trying to sneak a girl into the boys’ hostel by hiding her inside a large luggage bag.

The incident was discovered during a routine security check.
According to reports, both the boy and the girl are students at the university and part of the same mixed-gender friend group.
Girl Found Inside Luggage After Wheel Broke
A video of the incident, which has since gone viral, shows security guards unzipping the luggage as a young woman pops out from inside.

Students and security personnel are seen gathered around the scene.
The Plan to Bypass Security
Due to strict hostel rules, they attempted to bypass security by packing the girl into a suitcase.
Times of India reported that the girl had been packed into the luggage by two of her female friends from the girls’ hostel. They then handed the bag to the male student and another boy near the hostel gate.
One Wheel Broke, Plan Failed
On the way to the hostel, one of the bag’s wheels reportedly broke, causing a commotion.
During this, the girl made a noise from inside the bag, alerting a nearby guard, leading to the discovery. According to Hindustan Times, the video was reportedly captured by a fellow student.
University Says It Was a “mischievous act”
The students were caught on the spot, and security personnel intervened.
“The girl was packed into a travel bag by her friends, and the boys were attempting to take the bag into the boys’ hostel. It was a mischievous act and they were caught on the spot.”
Following the incident, notices have been issued to all students involved.
An internal inquiry is underway, and a formal hearing and student questioning have been scheduled.
