A video showing a man allegedly engaging in lewd behavior at Sunway University’s library has gone viral.
The footage, which surfaced on social media, reportedly showed a man—believed to be a student—pleasuring himself while watching content on a computer.

In another video, he is shown being escorted by others on campus and allegedly making a public apology at the university.

Following the circulation of the clip, a police report was lodged, and authorities have launched an investigation.
Sunway Education Group Responds
In response to the viral incident, Sunway Education Group issued a statement on March 22, confirming that the student is now under the care of his family while investigations are ongoing.
The institution emphasized that it takes all misconduct allegations seriously and urged the public to refrain from sharing related content, as it may violate the law.

“We respect the privacy and dignity of all parties involved and strongly condemn any acts of cyberbullying and harassment,” the statement read.
Police Investigation Underway
Subang Jaya police confirmed that they received a report about the incident at 9:28 PM on March 21.
The case is being investigated under:
- Section 294(a) of the Penal Code (obscene acts in public) and
- Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act (insulting behavior), which carry penalties of up to three months’ imprisonment, a fine, or both.
Authorities have urged witnesses to come forward and advised the public against engaging in indecent acts in public spaces.
