A 23-year-old woman, Parinita Jain, died of cardiac arrest while dancing at her cousin’s wedding in Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh, India.

She was reportedly performing on stage during the ‘haldi’ (also known as Mayian, Vatna Maiyun, or Ubtan, a pre-wedding ritual performed a day before Punjabi weddings in India and Pakistan) ceremony on Saturday night (Feb 8) when she suddenly collapsed.

Collapse Caught on Video

A video of the incident, which has since gone viral, shows Parinita dancing to a Bollywood song before she fell to the ground.

Guests rushed to help her, and family members who were doctors attempted CPR, but she did not respond.

She was immediately taken to a private hospital, where doctors declared her dead.

Family History of Heart Disease

Parinita was an MBA (Masters of Business Administration) graduate living with her parents in South Tukoganj, Indore, India.

According to reports, her younger brother had also passed away from a heart attack at the age of 12.

COVID-19 Vaccine Death Speculations

While social media users raised concerns about the COVID-19 vaccine’s role, doctors dismissed such claims, stating that family history and lifestyle factors play a bigger role in cardiac health.
