According to NDTV, Jagilam Tara, born on January 22, 2013, started her journey with the police force after undergoing specialized training at the Integrated Intelligence Training Academy (IITA) in Moinabad.
Her training equipped her to detect various explosives, including RDX, TNT, and Cordex. Upon completion, she was assigned to the Adilabad district, where she was cared for by handler L. Somanna.

Throughout her career, Tara played a crucial role in boosting security at many VIP events.
