An unusual moment in Chon Buri surprised many drivers and quickly spread across social media. On the afternoon of 04 March, a Thai woman suddenly sat down in the middle of a busy road after a heated argument with her boyfriend. The incident happened at Khiri Intersection, where traffic usually moves constantly during the daytime.

One passing motorist noticed the situation and recorded the moment with a mobile phone before uploading the clip online. According to a video shared on social media, the woman first stood at the center of the intersection while vehicles slowly approached the traffic lights. Moments later she lowered herself and sat directly on the road surface, leaving drivers confused and concerned as they carefully drove around her.

Shoes Thrown Suddenly

The video shows the woman wearing a white T-shirt and shorts while sitting on the asphalt. She begins shaking her legs until her shoes slip off her feet. She then throws the shoes toward different sides of the intersection. One of the shoes drops near a motorcyclist who is riding by and it almost hits him in the middle of the crossroad. Drivers slow down and glance at the unusual scene as they carry on with their trip.. According to a video clip circulating online, the unusual behavior lasts only a short time but quickly draws attention from people nearby. The crowded crossroad is used as a surprise stage for the emotional scene as the traffic is taking care of the woman.

Boyfriend Steps In

Shortly after the woman sits along the road, a man who is supposed to be her boyfriend approaches her and makes her calm down. He asks her to leave the traffic lane and move toward the roadside where it is safer. Nevertheless, the woman still seems to be angry and hits his arm as he speaks to her, though momentarily.

The man keeps attempting to steer her off the road when cars move past them at a slow pace. Several minutes are spent at the tense moment when the drivers observe the situation. Eventually the clip ends while he continues speaking with her and attempting to manage the situation in the middle of the intersection.

Motorcycle Breakdown Reason

Later, a motorcycle taxi rider named Kornpon Boonnark, aged 56, shared more details with local media. He explained that the couple’s motorcycle had broken down near the intersection before the argument began. The woman tried to stop passing vehicles so her boyfriend could push the motorcycle across the road to the roadside.

Nonetheless, people could not cross the junction as the traffic was heavy. Kornpon believed the delay created frustration and led to the woman’s emotional reaction seen in the video. He said the man spent around three minutes calming her before the situation improved. After that, the couple pushed their motorcycle away from the intersection and slowly walked home together.
