Police in Udon Thani, Thailand, were called on Monday, September 22, after a 44-year-old man named Tar reported that a woman in her 60s had shown up outside his home with luggage, insisting she wanted to marry him.
Officers from Mueang Udon Thani Police Station arrived at his house in Soi Wannapa around 4 p.m. and found the woman standing outside.

She was dressed in long sleeves, dark trousers, sunglasses, and a face mask, and carried both a travel suitcase and a bag.
“I’ve Never Seen Anyone This Handsome”
When questioned, the woman admitted she had followed Tar across social media platforms and had tried calling him many times. She told reporters:
“I’ve never seen anyone this handsome in my life. He’s breathtakingly handsome. I have to see him one last time, or I won’t be able to sleep a wink,” The Thaiger reported.
How the Unwanted Pursuit Began
Tar said the woman first contacted him late last year after getting his phone number through his brother’s restaurant’s Facebook page in Nong Khai.
She initially pretended to be interested in his Siberian Husky dogs, but the conversation soon turned toward starting a relationship.
He recalled that during her first attempt, she showed up at his home with several bags and stood at his gate for about an hour, refusing to leave until neighbors stepped in.

Second Visit With Bold Demands
Three to four months later, the woman returned.
This time, she openly asked him to marry her, talked about wanting to have children, and even claimed she came from a wealthy family, hoping it would convince him, Thairath reported.
Tar said he blocked her on all his social media accounts, but she kept creating new profiles to follow him.
Escalation During the Third Encounter
On September 22, she appeared once again at his home. Tar said that she immediately hugged him and proposed marriage.
When he asked her to leave, she became loud and caused a scene that dragged on for more than two hours until neighbors came to help.

At one point, she disappeared briefly but then tried to approach him again. Tar admitted he pushed her away, fearing she might be carrying a weapon, which caused her to fall and tear his shirt.

A 17-year-old neighbor also told the media outlet that her mother saw the woman on CCTV dragging a green suitcase through the neighborhood before the confrontation.

Tar Pleads for Her to Stop
Tar, who said he was once a social media influencer more than a decade ago before focusing on his business, stressed that he had never been in a relationship with the woman, had never met her before, and had not given her any false hope.
He urged her to stop harassing him and warned that if she came back again, he would pursue legal action.
Police eventually arranged for her to be taken to the bus station, where she left without resistance.
