A 40-year-old woman, Meow, managed to escape an attempted sexual assault in Chon Buri on February 1, 2025, after an ex-suitor of her younger sister entered her home.
Her quick actions helped her narrowly avoid a dangerous assault.
Surprise Intrusion
At around 4:00 AM, Anuwat, a 35-year-old man from Phanat Nikhom, arrived at Meow’s home while she was alone. Her husband was on a night shift, and her sister was away.
Anuwat, who had previously shown interest in Meow’s younger sister, an ex-suitor, knocked on her bedroom door. Meow opened it, expecting her sister or husband, but was shocked to find Anuwat standing there.

A Clever Way to Escape
According to Hone Krasae, Meow quickly thought of a plan and pretended to comply with Anuwat’s demands, telling him she needed to defecate and use the bathroom first. Anuwat agreed and let her go.

Once inside, Meow began knocking on the bathroom walls to attract the attention of her neighbors but received no response.
Anuwat, suspicious of her actions, attempted to break down the door, but Meow flushed the toilet to convince him she was defecating.

Seeing her opportunity, Meow quietly left the bathroom, ran downstairs, and immediately sought help from her neighbors before calling the police to report the attempted assault
Police Arrive and Arrest Anuwat
As reported by Channel 7, police received a report regarding this incident at around 6:30 AM, and shortly thereafter, they arrived at the scene, finding Anuwat still asleep on the victim’s bed in the second-floor bedroom.
They arrested him, and during questioning, Anuwat claimed that he could not remember what had happened, suggesting he thought Meow had consented.

Police also discovered his motorcycle parked about 30 meters from the house.
Background on the Assailant
Meow explained that Anuwat was not a stranger—he had been an ex-suitor of her younger sister, whom she had once introduced to him.
However, things did not work out between them, and they eventually stopped keeping in touch.
Victim’s Husband Punched Him Twice
As Anuwat was being escorted out by the police, Meow’s husband arrived home and, furious at the situation, broke through the officers and punched Anuwat twice in the face before police intervened.
