Two Men Seen Squaring Off at Toll Booth, One Now Wanted by Police

A short roadside confrontation between two men near the Bukit Tambun Toll Plaza in Penang, Malaysia, recently went viral after being captured in a 28-second video. 

The incident has drawn both amusement and concern among Malaysians, especially after authorities confirmed that an investigation is underway.

In the clip, a shirtless man is seen exiting his blue car to confront another man near the toll booth.

He appeared to be holding a sharp object while making aggressive movements. 

The other man responded by raising his fists, and for a moment, both stood facing each other as if preparing to fight.

Bystander Stepped In Before Things Escalated

Before things escalated further, a third man entered the frame.

He gestured toward the toll area, seemingly trying to calm the situation and direct the men to clear the road.

Although the confrontation appeared tense, neither man was physically hurt. The video ended without showing any violence.

Police Received Two Reports, One Man Identified

Following the viral clip, authorities confirmed they have received two reports related to the incident.

According to South Seberang Perai District Police Chief, Superintendent Jay January Siowou, one of the men involved has been identified, and police are actively working to trace the other individual.

The case is being investigated under Sections 323 and 506 of the Penal Code, which cover causing hurt and criminal intimidation, respectively.

Man Wanted in Toll Plaza Confrontation Flees and Remains Missing

Penang police are now searching for 32-year-old Mohd Shakirin bin Rejab (the shirtless man in the video), who was involved in the confrontation.

Known by several nicknames such as Kirin and Bain, Shakirin reportedly fled the scene after the incident and abandoned his blue Perodua Bezza in Gurun, Kedah.

Altercation Believed to Be Triggered by Car Collision

According to reports, the clash is believed to have started due to a misunderstanding following a rear-end vehicle collision.

Shakirin has been missing since, and authorities are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.
