Turkish News Anchor Ends Broadcast With Surprise Kitten Adoption Call

An Unexpected News Ending That Melted Hearts

During a recent news broadcast on TYT Türk, Turkish anchor Emre Buga took a heartfelt turn at the end of the segment by introducing five kittens in need of a home.

These playful furballs were born to Leyla, a cat that lives in the channel’s studio and has been personally cared for by Buga.

“Let’s close off with good news,” Buga said, holding the tiny kittens, trying to keep them all in place.

He explained that Leyla, affectionately called the ‘pretty girl’ of the channel, had recently given birth inside the studio and that the team had made sure both the mother and her babies were well-fed and cared for.

Raised in Comfort, Ready for Adoption

According to Buga’s Instagram post, the kittens were born in a secure, nurturing environment and have never known the hardships of life on the street.

“We provided them a safe and wonderful living space with their mother, and they’ve never lacked anything,” he wrote, adding that both the mother and kittens are in excellent health.

The kittens have been treated for internal and external parasites, and Leyla has since been spayed. Emre Buga, who raised them at the studio, shared that he has grown deeply attached to them and finds himself checking on them daily.

The emotional bond he formed with the little family has made the process of letting them go especially difficult.

Let Them Bounce Into New Homes

Buga hopes the furballs can each find loving homes. Additionally, he stated, “We didn’t name them yet, so that you can do it yourself when you adopt them.”

He also reminded potential adopters that there are conditions: the kittens must be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and properly cared for.

How to Adopt One

As posted on TYT Türk’s Instagram, the channel is now seeking responsible individuals or families to adopt the kittens.

Interested adopters are encouraged to contact the channel through their WhatsApp.

Supported by the Entire News Team

Emre Buga also shared his appreciation for the entire news team, including the channel’s management, saying that everyone had come together to ensure the kittens were raised in good health.

Their collective effort played a key role in providing the care and attention the feline family needed.

The adoption initiative has since gained attention online, including a post on Reddit praising the “cutest way possible” to end a news program.

This moment showed not only the broadcaster’s kindness, but also how much cats are cherished in Turkish culture.

In many cities across Turkey, stray cats are welcomed, fed, and even sheltered by the community.
