Many fans say they never expected K-pop mascot characters to appear in a major Hollywood animation. According to the video, members Bang Chan and Lee Know asked fans to look closely during the film because SKZOO will appear as a hidden “Easter egg” at a fun moment in the movie.
Why SKZOO Matters to Fans
SKZOO started as cute character merchandise, but they became much more over time. Each animal character represents a member of Stray Kids, and fans love them for their unique design and playful personalities.
SKZOO characters have shown up in concerts, music videos, and even special events, so seeing them enter the movie world feels like a major milestone.
A New Chapter for Zootopia Fans
“Zootopia 2” brings back Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, the iconic duo from the first film. In this sequel, they work together again to solve a new mystery involving a dangerous snake character named Gary. The movie keeps the same colorful world full of humor and adventure, making it a perfect place for a quick SKZOO appearance.
For many fans, this crossover makes sense. Both universes are built around expressive animal characters, so the cameo feels natural and fun without interrupting the story.
A Smart Partnership With Big Impact
This collaboration is a win for both sides. Disney gets the attention of millions of dedicated STAYs around the world, while Stray Kids receive even more exposure to international audiences who may not be familiar with K-pop.

It also marks one of the rare times a K-pop group’s character brand appears in a major Western animated film. This moment shows how far the influence of Korean pop culture has expanded.
