An Indonesian influencer’s daring encounter with a snake has gone viral after the reptile bit his groin and refused to let go.
The influencer, Anggara Shoji, who is known for handling venomous reptiles, posted a video of the ordeal on his Instagram account, garnering millions of views and reactions.
The clip showed Shoji in visible agony as a snake latched onto his groin through his trousers.
Despite his desperate attempts to pull it off, the snake’s grip remained firm, forcing him to collapse to the ground.
The video ended abruptly, leaving viewers wondering how Shoji freed himself.

Though the video ends before showing the snake being removed, Shoji later reassured followers by posting other videos of his ongoing reptile encounters, suggesting he escaped the ordeal without serious harm.
Based on these posts, it is believed that he managed to avoid severe injuries.

The snake in question was identified as either a mangrove snake or a banded krait, both native to Southeast Asia.
These species are mildly venomous, and their bites can cause intense swelling. However, fatalities are extremely rare with prompt medical attention.
