Russia’s Aerospace Forces have received a new batch of Sukhoi Su-35S multi-role fighter jets, according to state defence conglomerate Rostec and its United Aircraft Corporation (UAC).
Footage shows UAC personnel preparing the aircraft for take-off before the jets are delivered for operational use.
“We carry out various missions on this aircraft, including intercepting air targets at long ranges, providing cover for strike groups and ground facilities, destroying unmanned aerial vehicles, and striking ground and sea targets with high-precision weapons,” a Russian pilot said.
“We also conduct reconnaissance, identifying enemy positions well behind the front line,” he added.
According to UAC, the Su-35S is among the most advanced fighters currently in service, designed for air superiority as well as precision strike missions.
The manufacturer said the aircraft ranks highly in its ability to intercept aerial targets, highlighting its long-range engagement capabilities and multi-role versatility.
