So wholesome! – Family invites 8 migrant workers and a “cute Chinese uncle” into their home for Hari Raya

Your TikTok feed must be filled with stunning transitions into Raya outfits and beautiful OOTD shots, but the following video is the most wholesome one you’ll see on the first day of Raya 2022.

TikToker Nadia posted a 20-second video clip which garnered more than 100,000 views in less than 8 hours. The caption of the video read “Not your typical day 1 raya”.

In the video, Nadia shared how her father invited a group of 8 Bangladeshi migrant workers and “a cute Chinese uncle from his workplace” to their house for Hari Raya.

In the heart-warming video, the workers could be seen merrily eating and chatting with their host, who wore a beige Baju Kurung.

The group posed for 2 pictures together and waved at the camera. Nadia, through her comments, commented that everyone looked so happy, cute, and wholesome.

Even as the workers left their home and Nadia waved goodbye to them, they were all smiles.

Nadia also shared that these workers had bought food, drinks, and fruits for the family. They even bought a whole watermelon!

Needless to say, TikTokers were full of praise for Nadia’s family.

We need to see more of such kindness and wholesomeness in this world.
