Fantasy lights transform mountain park
Nanning Night Garden has transformed Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area in southern China’s Guangxi region into a glowing fantasy world, drawing thousands of visitors with towering light displays, illuminated gardens and live fire performances.
Footage filmed on Wednesday shows crowds exploring glowing pathways, giant installations, LED-lit gardens and a choreographed fountain show after dark.
Visitors amazed by glowing scenery
“The scenery here is absolutely stunning. I’ve walked quite a lot but only covered two-thirds of the scenic area. It is incredibly beautiful, and I will definitely come again next year,” one visitor said.
Running from July 4 to October 7, the event blends fantasy-themed light art with the park’s natural scenery, creating an immersive nighttime experience.
Crowds continue to flock nightly
Organisers say daily visitor numbers have exceeded 30,000 since the Night Garden opened.
This year’s event features two new themed zones, Animal Kingdom and Ocean World.
New attractions delight returning guests
“The exhibition seems newly built. During last year’s Chinese National Day holiday, the lights were designed differently, and the brand-new layout this year is absolutely gorgeous,” another visitor said.
Visitors can also explore a starlight trail, colourful floral displays and Dinosaur World, as the attraction brings more crowds to Nanning after dark.
