A Rider Who Refuses to Slow Down
A food delivery rider from Kerteh, Kemaman has shown Malaysians that physical loss does not mean giving up on life, work, or love.
Ahmad Nabil Rosli, 26, regularly completes between 30 and 50 food deliveries a day, despite losing his left hand in a serious road accident in 2017. Nearly eight years on, his discipline, perseverance and quiet determination have drawn widespread admiration online and offline.

Based in Terengganu, Nabil works long hours, often from morning until night, pushing through both good days and difficult ones as a full-time rider.
“Usually, I complete around 30 orders. Alhamdulillah, I have also broken my own record in a single day. I once managed to complete almost 50 deliveries,” he told a Malaysian news outlet.
Working From Morning to Night
Nabil explained that the nature of delivery work comes with uncertainty, but he accepts orders whenever demand is high.
“It starts from morning until night because working as a rider has its ups and downs. When there are days with good fortune and orders keep coming in, I just accept them,” he said.

Delivering food using only one hand, he believes the increase in orders reflects his determination to handle every task responsibly.
“I once wondered if it was possible to reach 50 orders in a day. Alhamdulillah, at that time, the sustenance was truly there,” he said.
A Crash That Nearly Took His Life
Nabil’s life changed dramatically after a motorcycle accident in May 2017. According to reports, his motorcycle was dragged along the road and caught fire, leaving him severely injured.
He fell into a coma, and doctors were forced to amputate his left arm from the shoulder.

“My father told me that my heart stopped for half an hour and the doctors made every effort to save me. It was a critical moment,” he recalled.
Looking back, Nabil described the incident as a second chance at life.
“Who wouldn’t cry at that time? But many people were kind and understanding and they gave me words of encouragement. Alhamdulillah,” he added.
Living Without a Prosthetic, Leaning on Support
Although he previously wore a prosthetic arm while working, Nabil eventually stopped due to nerve pain in his shoulder.
Today, he credits the unwavering support of his parents, siblings and close friends for helping him rebuild his confidence and independence.
Members of the public, he said, have also been largely understanding — often offering encouragement that keeps him motivated.
Inspiring Others on TikTok
Since 2021, Nabil has been sharing snippets of his daily routine on TikTok under the handle @KingOfOneHand, documenting both his work and resilience.

One video posted on 16 November showed him being stopped at a traffic police checkpoint. Noticing his missing arm, an officer was heard asking: “Did your hand get hurt, brother?”
The clip quickly gained attention, adding to the growing admiration for his story.
Riding Toward Love and a Future
Beyond work, Nabil is riding toward another milestone. In a separate interview with Hot FM, he shared that he is saving up to marry a “special someone in Singapore”, with hopes of getting married by December next year.

According to the radio station, his story deeply moved a listener, who offered to sponsor the cost of his wedding — potentially allowing the couple to wed earlier than planned.
Through every delivery, Ahmad Nabil continues to show that resilience is not just about survival — it is about moving forward, one ride at a time.
