Man Casually Picks Up a Large Snake in the Middle of a Busy KL Road

In the bustling streets of Kuala Lumpur’s Bukit Bintang, a passerby became an unlikely hero when he calmly removed a large snake from the road while managing a wardrobe mishap.

A TikTok video of the incident, shared by user @/whothefack, has since gone viral, drawing over 1.8 million views.

A Startling Sight in the City

According to WeirdKaya, the unusual encounter occurred on January 18 near MRT Bukit Bintang.

The TikTok user, who filmed the incident, stated, “It was around the afternoon when I was walking towards MRT Bukit Bintang and saw this huge snake crossing the alley.”

Calm Under Pressure

In the video, a man is seen fearlessly approaching a snake slithering across the middle of a busy street.

With a very calm composure, he covered the reptile with a cloth, carefully picked it up, and moved it off the road, ensuring the safety of both pedestrians and drivers.

Fixes Loose Pants Midway

While handling the snake, which was coiling around his arm, the man was also caught on video repeatedly tugging at his loose pants—a detail that added an extra layer of humor to the scene.

Later on, the man himself came onto the comment section to explain his loose pants agenda under the viral TikTok post.

“Sorry about the trousers. I’ve lost some weight, so they kept slipping down. But anyway, I’ve handed the snake over to the nearest fire station.”

Comments and Reactions

Following the viral video, many netizens flocked to the comment section to share their thoughts on this hilarious moment.

One commenter said, “The pants really decided to slip down at this moment!”

Another expressed astonishment, asking, “Did he just manhandle the snake like it was nothing?”

Someone humorously criticized the handling of the snake, saying, “It’s like the snake had no dignity with the way he treated it!”

Another commenter wondered about the snake’s fate, asking, “Where did he send the snake afterward? Did he send it to the fire department?” To which the original poster responded, “Yes. He even shared a selfie with the firefighters as he handed over the snake in a sack.”
