Man’s Desperate Plea on LRT Goes Viral
A video showing a distressed man pleading for help inside a Kuala Lumpur LRT train went viral earlier this week, after he alleged that his own brother had sent people to kill him.
The incident reportedly took place on Tuesday night, 5 August 2025, and has since raised widespread concern on social media.
Claimed He Was Followed By Individuals Trying to Kill Him
In the now-viral TikTok video, the man is seen visibly shaken, holding several sheets of paper while addressing fellow passengers.

He claimed that he was being followed by two individuals on board the train, whom he believed had been sent to harm him.
“Please, I have been followed since this morning. Please save me, my brother has sent people to kill me,” he was heard saying in the video.
Claims Link Alleged Murder Plot to Insurance Policy
The man further claimed that his brother had taken out an insurance policy under his name without his permission.
He suggested this may have been done with the intent to benefit financially if anything happened to him.
“I’ve already made a report. People are disturbing me; he took insurance to kill me. My biological brother (did this).”

Police Report: Victim Had No Knowledge of Insurance Taken Out Under His Name
According to World of Buzz, the man later lodged a police report at the Dang Wangi Police Station on the same night.

In the report, he stated that he had no knowledge of the type of insurance taken out using his name and expressed distrust toward his family.
Wants Funds to Be Directed to Charity
Additionally, he reportedly told police that if he were to die, he did not want the insurance money to go to his family members.
Instead, he wanted the funds to be directed to Zakat, an Islamic form of charitable giving.
Viral Attention from Public and Local Figure
The emotional video, which has now amassed over 5.6 million views on TikTok, quickly drew public sympathy and concern.
The man can be seen trembling and pleading with commuters to record and share the footage online, saying,
“Make it viral, please save me… post it on TikTok, Facebook.”
Among those who took notice was rapper and humanitarian activist Caprice, who reposted the clip on Instagram and urged the public to come forward with any information.
“If anyone knows the victim and the case or if help is needed, let us know.”
No Further Information
The TikTok user who uploaded the video has not shared further updates about the man’s safety or whereabouts, as the user said they too are unsure of the details and background of the story.
For now, the man’s current condition and the validity of his statements remain unconfirmed. Authorities have yet to provide any public updates.
