Royal Arrival in Moscow
Cutting-edge 360 footage shows the arrival of the King of Malaysia Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar to Moscow on Wednesday.

The sweeping video shows the King descending from the plane and greeting the welcome delegation.
Official Visit and Upcoming Talks
Sultan Ibrahim arrived for a working visit at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin. They are set to hold talks and the monarch will attend the iconic, annual Victory Day parade and related events.
Russia Recognizes Malaysia’s Importance
“The special invitation from President of Russia, Vladimir Putin to His Majesty to attend the celebration reflects the highest recognition by the Government of Russia towards Malaysia,” a post on the King’s official Facebook page stated.

The King last visited Russia in late January 2026, and met with Putin at the Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg.
Victory Day Celebrations
Victory Day, marking the end of WW2, is traditionally observed in Russia and CIS countries and others on May 9, with similar commemorations held in many other locations around the world.
