JÄÄDE Water Marks a Milestone Year of Growth and Partnerships in Singapore

JÄÄDE, a Finnish premium natural mineral water brand, marks its first anniversary in Singapore with steady expansions across the country’s vibrant hospitality and F&B sectors. Drawn from the pristine Salpausselkä Ridge in Lahti, Finland, JÄÄDE is recognised for its smooth and light-bodied taste with a neutral, pure and clean profile to provide a refreshing experience to its consumers.

This milestone marks significant progress in JÄÄDE’s expansion into the Singapore market, reflecting the brand’s growing reputation as a preferred choice among chefs, hoteliers, and lifestyle tastemakers.

To commemorate this milestone, JÄÄDE celebrated at Arcc Spaces, Marina Bay, attended by business partners, media, and esteemed guests, including Finland’s Ambassador to Singapore, Juha Markkanen.

Sharing his thoughts on JÄÄDE, Finnish Ambassador Juha Markkanen said, “We have about 168,000 lakes in Finland, and the water is so pure in many lakes that you can take water from the lake and consume it. JÄÄDE embodies this purity and stands as a symbol of Finnish pride, a testament to our deep respect for nature and commitment to sustainability. As we look toward the future, I am truly pleased that this exceptional Finnish water is now available in Singapore for everyone to enjoy.”

The afternoon featured a guided water-tasting session led by Sam Wu, Singapore’s first certified water sommelier and Founder of The Water Sommelier, alongside Caryn Tang, Singapore’s first female Water Sommelier. Guests were invited to explore the delicate nuances of premium water tasting and discover how JÄÄDE elevates both fine dining and everyday enjoyment.

“JÄÄDE has grown with quiet strength. With a clear purpose in delivering quality to Singapore’s shores, this milestone is a tribute to our partners and collaborators who have believed in our vision. I’m honoured to celebrate our first anniversary with them as we chart the next chapter of JÄÄDE’s journey,” said Allan Poh, Co-Founder of JÄÄDE.

RECOGNITION FOR EXCELLENCE

Over the past year, JÄÄDE has earned multiple international accolades for its quality and craftsmanship, including:

  • ‘Best New Brand’ at the Global Water Drinks Awards 2024
  • ‘Best Premium Beverage’ award at the World Beverage Innovation Awards 2024
  • ‘Gold’ at the Aurora International Taste Challenge 2025

“JÄÄDE’s water reflects the purity of Finland’s natural landscape — clean, crisp, and refreshing. With its low minerality and neutral taste, it’s exceptionally versatile — ideal for brewing tea and coffee, preparing soups, or pairing alongside wines and fine cuisine. I’m glad to see JÄÄDE reaching more people internationally and sharing a piece of Finnish nature with the world,” shared Sam Wu, Singapore’s first water sommelier and Founder of The Water Sommelier.

CHARTING THE NEXT CHAPTER OF GROWTH

Building on a successful first year, JÄÄDE is poised for continued growth both locally and regionally. The brand plans to strengthen its B2B partnerships within Singapore’s hospitality and corporate sectors, expanding its reach to hotels, restaurants, and wellness establishments seeking premium-quality water solutions.

Beyond Singapore, JÄÄDE is looking forward to international expansion, namely in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. The brand aims to introduce its distinctive Finnish mineral water to consumers and hospitality partners across the regions, from luxury hotels and fine-dining establishments to wellness resorts and gourmet retailers.

Rooted in principles of authenticity, sustainability, and superior craftsmanship, JÄÄDE’s expansion strategy reflects its commitment to sharing the purity of Finland’s natural landscapes with the world. Each new market represents not only a commercial opportunity but also a chance to champion mindful hydration and environmental responsibility through quality and purpose-driven partnerships.

EXPANDING PRESENCE IN SINGAPORE’S F&B AND HOSPITALITY SECTOR

Since its official launch in Singapore in 2024, JÄÄDE has made significant inroads into Singapore’s premium beverage market. In 2025, JÄÄDE was named the official still water partner of the Singapore Food Festival 2025, reinforcing its role in the culinary scene.

Today, JÄÄDE is available at select Don Don Donki, Little Farms, and MEIDI-YA outlets. The brand has also strengthened its presence in the F&B scene, now featured as a core offering in bars such as Mama Diam; restaurants including Artemis Grill and VUE; and cafés like Plain Vanilla and Janice Wong @Supertree.
