ImpactSG, an independent charity to foster a community of purposeful givers in Singapore and Asia, celebrated its 1 year anniversary at the University Cultural Centre with its inaugural GiveFest Asia event. The event saw a total of 460 attendees from Singapore, overseas (17 nationalities) and the wider region’s philanthropy ecosystem.

ImpactSG also reported as part of the event, that 1550 hours were pledged to and $4,024,297 was committed/pledged through them in 2025. Of this amount, $1,952,917 was raised as part of the GiveFest Asia event.

Growing Pledger Community Since 2024 Launch

GiveFest Asia convenes givers, changemakers, ground-up initiatives, and institutions to explore new ways of creating social impact. Through immersive programmes and shared experiences, it seeks to build a lasting culture of purposeful and innovative giving in Singapore and the wider region. At the event, there were a total of 46 participating organisations, which included charities, social enterprises and ground-up initiatives. There were also a total number of 83 corporates on site, with 4 of them being banking and financial services institutions.

Since its official launch in November 2024, ImpactSG has grown in leaps and bounds. The pledger base has become more diverse – and grown by more than 60% to 120 Pledgers since her launch. Most who pledged when ImpactSG launched and in 1H25 have contributed at least one of the 4Ts in the course of the year. The variety and range of their contributions have continued to expand as well.

Stronger Partnerships Through New MOUs

“The past year has been both inspiring and transformative for ImpactSG, culminating in the launch of our very first GiveFest Asia,” said Ravi Menon, Board Chairman, ImpactSG. “Through strong partnerships and collective action, we’re making real progress in advancing Singapore’s giving landscape.

Impact SG deepened its relationships with her community members by signing 5 Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) for her Treasures Projects. The MOUs will see five ImpactSG pledgers committing a fixed amount of recurring treasure on an annual basis. ImpactSG will provide philanthropic advisory and help the Pledgers with the Treasure deployment to Charities and Social Service Organisations in Singapore. The MOUs, were with three Single Family Offices (SFO) – and two private corporations, one of which was MiRXES, a Singaporean headquartered biotechnology company.

Expanding Career and Community Programmes in 2025

Over the course of 2025, ImpactSG has also delivered a wide range of programmes and activities spanning career opportunity development, healthcare (cancer & mental health), societal and community integration efforts and socioeconomic mobility. ImpactSG will continue to build upon these programs. In particular, the Career Opportunity Programme is looking to expand the total number of participants and schools involved.

ImpactSG will work closely with the Ministry of Education and also partner other networks such as the Singapore Institute of Directors, so as to allow their membership base of 5,500 individuals to give their time, ties and talent to schools in Singapore.  ImpactSG has plans to partner more networks in 2026 such as Founder’s Forum Group and ThinkSuite.

Collaborations With Major Organisations and Networks

“ImpactSG is not one to rest on its laurels – our milestones this past year and our Pledger community inspires us to aim even higher and push even more,” said Edmund Twohill, Executive Director & Co-Founder, ImpactSG. ImpactSG  has forged  partnerships with a total of 20 new organisations in 2025, which it is working with or receiving support from. Some of the new partners include Bloomberg, M.I.L.K (Mainly I Love Kids), Touch Community Services, Alba Berlin, IHH, and GiveAsia to name a few.

These partners support the implementation of ImpactSG’s priority programmes, products being developed (e.g. GiveFest Asia, Community Hour and PledgeX) and other Pledger events and activities. These complement partnerships with their existing organisations which include the National Cancer Centre Singapore and the Gates Foundation.

Besides the curated priority programmes which make it easy for their Pledger community to give of the 4Ts, ImpactSG has also developed two other ways for their Community to get involved.

  • Design Your Own – These are self-initiated projects of the Pledgers and supported by ImpactSG staff. They are led by Pledgers who primarily contribute time and treasure. The Pledgers are responsible to bring the project to delivery by working closely with the Charities/Non-Profits delivering the services. Currently there is one ongoing project called KitaBisa Collective (KBC),  a financial upskill and co-savings initiative for low-income households led by Lynn Herminjanto. There are another three in the pipeline for 2026 in the areas of elderly care, mental health and cancer screening.
  • Treasures Projects – Mentioned earlier

About ImpactSG

ImpactSG is an independent charity/ philanthropic start-up to foster a community of purposeful givers in Singapore and Asia. They add value to Singapore’s charity and philanthropy ecosystem by being a “gateway to giving” in Singapore and Asia, with a focus on  individuals who are new to giving or newcomers to Singapore and our philanthropy/giving ecosystem.

They practise a “4T” approach to giving (time, talent, ties, treasure) and encourage our Pledgers to go beyond financial donations to volunteer their time, share their expertise, or tap on their professional networks to help others.
