Gabbard Alleges Biolab Information Was Withheld
Outgoing US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard claimed that previous US administrations had lied about the existence and funding of biolabs – including in Ukraine – in a bombshell statement on Friday.
“Until now, evidence regarding the full existence and funding of these laboratories had been knowingly withheld from you, the American people. Many of these US government funded bio labs are currently or have previously engaged in research using hazardous and highly contagious pathogens, and in some cases included dangerous gain of function research with very little visibility or oversight,” she said.
Donald Trump signed an executive order ending funding for ‘gain of function’ research last year – a type of science that alters an organism’s or pathogen’s genetic code to give it new abilities or enhance existing traits.
Criticism of Officials and Policies
“Despite the obvious potential for catastrophic global impact, that research on dangerous pathogens and bio labs can have, politicians and so-called health professionals like Doctor Fauci, as well as entities within the Biden administration’s national security team, lied repeatedly to the American people about the existence of U.S. funded and supported bio labs,” she went on.
“Not only did they lie, they threatened those who attempted to expose the truth, she went on. So this release today breaks new ground as the information surrounding the existence, history, locations, and funding of these US funded bio labs has been intentionally covered up by very powerful people who falsely claimed that these bio labs didn’t exist. Now, they accused anyone who says otherwise to be foreign assets and traitors to America”.
Documents Detail Lab Activities
Slides released – and also available on this site – include confirmation of over 40 such labs in Ukraine – and the startling revelation that those labs included “Anthrax, tularemia, tuberculosis, Swine Fever, New Castles Disease, MERS, SARS, Marburg, Ebola, Lassa, the Plague [and] Rickettsia.”
The slides also confirmed a list of connections between the Ukrainian lab and the US Biowarfare defence industry. Ukraine has not commented, while Russia has repeatedly accused the US of funding such biolabs. The US has previously confirmed ‘public health laboratories’ for the ‘safe handling of pathogens’ and preventing disease outbreaks.
Gabbard is stepping down from her role as of June 30, citing her husband’s recent cancer diagnosis.
