Macron Welcomes Thai Prime Minister To Paris
French President Emmanuel Macron welcomed Thailand’s Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and his delegation at the Elysee Palace on an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between France and Thailand.

The Thai prime minister was received at the main courtyard of the presidential residence, where he was greeted by President Macron before both leaders posed for official photographs alongside their delegations.
Talks Focus On Expanding Strategic Cooperation
According to officials, the discussions are expected to focus on expanding cooperation in trade, investment, defence, climate policy, tourism and technology, as both sides seek to reinforce long-term strategic engagement.
President Macron said the visit reflects ‘a shared commitment to deepen cooperation between Europe and Southeast Asia,’ according to remarks released by the French presidency.

Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul described France as a key partner for Thailand’s global economic strategy, adding that Bangkok aims to expand cooperation in innovation, infrastructure and sustainable development.
France And Thailand Strengthen Diplomatic Ties
The meeting also marks a continuation of high-level exchanges between the two countries following previous diplomatic engagements and ministerial visits in recent years.

France and Thailand maintain long-standing diplomatic relations, with cooperation spanning defence, aviation, education and cultural exchange. Both sides are expected to reaffirm their commitment to expanding economic ties under broader EU–ASEAN partnership frameworks.
