Forklift Break-In
On 9 February, a 26-year-old man in Turkey attempted a break-in of one of the jewelry stores using a forklift. At night, the man went in with the heavy machine and right into the metal shutters of the shop. As indicated by a videotape connection, CCTV footage depicts the forklift pushing and shaking against the entrance until the metal door finally broke.
After breaking into the store, the suspect immediately went behind the counters, grabbing handfuls of gold rings, necklaces, and earrings. The robbery left the shopfront badly damaged, and officials have not released the exact value of the stolen jewelry.
Unusual Escape
It only became stranger when the robbery suspect deserted the forklift and ran away on a donkey. According to a video, a solitary figure riding the animal in the side streets soon after the break-in. The wild escape shocked locals and attracted publicity on the internet. This gave police ample time to alert, and within no time, they were following the suspect on a short distance before arresting him. The investigation had seen police retrieve some 150 grams of the stolen gold. The forklift used in the heist was also confiscated for detailed examination as part of the ongoing inquiry.
Police Investigation
Officials are currently trying to establish how the suspect got into the forklift and whether anybody aided in plotting the robbery. Authorities plan to charge the suspect with theft and property damage.
Whereas social media has majored on the strange donkey escape, police reiterate the fact that the event brought about severe harm and might have exposed others to danger. Investigators are still gathering information to uncover all the details of the robbery and to ensure that no one else took part.
Community Shock
The citizens living in the area wrote that the incident was appalling and unbelievable. People commented that it looked strange to see a farm animal involved in a city crime.
Although the pictures that are being shared on the internet are weird, the authorities emphasize that the focus should be on people and reclaiming stolen property. The owners of the shops are concentrating on fixing the massive damage to the business as opposed to the drama of the robbery.

Robbers used heavy machines and even animals in a very unusual way, showing that they can carry out a heist with unconventional methods. Police encourage the store owners to be cautious and to report any activities that they find suspicious.
