A rider in Singapore found himself in an unexpected situation when his electric scooter suddenly stopped working while he was out riding.

Instead of immediately leaving the vehicle behind, he decided to push the scooter along the roads while trying to figure out his next move. In a video shared online, the rider joked that people around him were probably wondering what he was doing.

Despite the scooter drama, the rider took it pretty well and laughed off the situation. He joked that people were probably wondering what he was doing, but at least the weather was nice while he was out there having an unexpected “walking session” with his scooter.

Viewers Suggest Calling A Tow Service

The video quickly pulled in comments from viewers who had plenty of opinions on what he should do next.

Some told him to just call a tow truck instead of turning the broken electric scooter into a walking companion. Others pointed out that towing is not exactly cheap, with one commenter saying it could cost around $70 for a few hours of waiting, while urgent help could go beyond $100.

With those prices, some viewers admitted that pushing the scooter around the neighborhood suddenly did not seem like such a bad idea.

Others Share Repair And Safety Advice

Other commenters suggested leaving the scooter at a nearby car park and arranging transport instead of continuing the long walk.

Some also warned him not to blindly follow random repair tips from the comment section, joking that a “free fix” could end up becoming an expensive workshop bill later. Another viewer asked whether the rider had attempted a push start before deciding to walk the scooter home.
