Calls for Immediate Action

According to The Star, the incident has sparked renewed calls for action to control stray dog populations.

Lahad Datu Umno Youth Chief, Datuk Seri Dr. Anil Sandhu, expressed his shock at the CCTV footage, calling for stronger measures to address the stray dog issue.

“All local councils, relevant government agencies, and animal rights activists should take the problem of stray dogs seriously as the time has come to solve this worrying problem that threatens people,” he said.

He stressed that local authorities, government agencies, and animal rights groups must take urgent steps to protect public safety.
