Hazel, 21, the owner of Edens Atelier Co. (formerly totonailstudio), told Wake Up Singapore that Madison Beer was “friendly and genuine“.
“I’ve always believed in hanging around good company and good karma will happen if my good deeds prevail!
“She didn’t treat me any differently and she spoke to me as though we were friends she was just so so so nice”
On the morning of Madison Beer’s show in Singapore on 22 August 2024, the singer reached out to Eden’s Atelier Co to ask if they could help fix her nails which were “breaking and falling apart“.
Hazel was in awe that Madison Beer reached out to her nail studio. For Hazel, even being given the opportunity to do Madison Beer’s nails was a great honour. Hazel said that, during the session, the singer and her “chatted like friends“.
After she did her nails, and paying for it, Madison Beer posted an Instagram story which reached her 33 million strong following.
Following Madison Beer’s post, Eden’s Atelier Co.’s business improved tremendously.
“I was really about to give up on everything”
Hazel shared that the nail studio was in dire financial straits prior to Madison Beer’s post. Amongst other things, Hazel lost more than SGD 20,000 in rental and other overheads. Hazel had to work gruelling 12-hour shifts often for the business to remain afloat.
Hazel’s friend, TikToker Andreana Tay also helped chip in SGD 5,000 on a goodwill basis to help Eden Atelier Co’s operations.

Hazel shared that her fiance and other friends also helped the nail studio tide through tough times.
Hazel was “seriously considering“. shutting shop and moving back to a small office space and starting afresh prior to Madison Beer’s visit.
After Madison Beer gave a shout out to Edens Atelier Co. on her Instagram stories, Hazel reached out to thank the singer and shared how much her post helped alleviate thee nail studio’s financial situation.
After their conversation, without Hazel’s knowledge, the singer instructed her agency to cover the nail studio’s rental for the month.
Madison Beer did not allow Hazel to return the money
Madison Beer refused Hazel’s offer to return the money. She transferred the rental via PayNow to Edens Atelier Co. not long after she left the nail studio following her session.
