Crow Steals Money in KL, Played Hilarious Chase Battle with Uncle and Auntie

A Bird with a Plan

A Malaysian couple’s quest to retrieve RM70 (approx. 21 SGD) taken by a mischievous crow in Taman Desa, Kuala Lumpur quickly turned into an amusing spectacle, caught on camera by a bystander.

The incident, which unfolded in broad daylight, has since captured the attention of many online viewers.

The Chase Begins

In a series of Instagram clips shared by Tan Wee Sheng, an uncle was seen inching his way down a flight of stairs and toward the crow, which had grabbed an RM50 (approx. 15 SGD) and RM20 (approx. 6 SGD) notes.

Each time he got close, the crow flapped its wings, leaping further away, seemingly enjoying the challenge.

Help Arrives, But the Struggle Continues

Noticing her partner’s failed attempts, an auntie decided to join the mission. With her phone in one hand, she quickly sprang into action.

Her first success came when the crow dropped the RM50 note, allowing the auntie to grab it before the bird could swoop in again.

The Other Note is Still Out of Reach

After securing one note, the auntie quickly shifted her focus to the remaining RM20. However, the crow, now more wary, expertly dodged her every move.

It darted around so quickly that it was almost impossible for her to catch it.

A Battle Lost, The RM20 That Got Away

In a third clip, the aunty was seen watching the bird, now perched on some wires above a nearby eatery.

The crow seemed to treat the RM20 like it was building a nest, playing with it in its beak.

The aunty stood there, resigned but still amused, as bystanders around her witnessed the strange situation.

The video ends without showing whether the money was ever recovered, leaving the crow to have the final laugh.
