Unexpected Global Spotlight

China’s first all-female police squad drew worldwide attention during the UAE SWAT Challenge held in Dubai. The international tactical competition gathers elite police units from many countries every year. Video clips broadcast by China The Global Television Network quickly spread across social media and surprised many viewers.

The Chinese women officers finished ahead of an all-male United States team during one of the most demanding stages. The course included shooting tasks, fast sprints, and heavy-load carrying challenges. Reports say the Chinese team completed the stage around 16 seconds faster than their rivals did. The performance reportedly took place on 09 February 2026, marking the first time China entered the competition with a women-only police squad.

Viral Competition Moment

The widely shared clips show the Chinese officers moving through the obstacle course with speed and coordination. Their American competitors, identified in media reports as a unit from the Orlando Police Department, ran the same stage during the same heat. The Chinese squad reached the final point earlier than the US team.

Event organizers normally publish overall team rankings rather than detailed head-to-head results, which means the comparison mainly comes from broadcast video and social media analysis. Even without official timing comparisons, the visual evidence gained strong attention from sports commentators and security analysts who follow international tactical competitions.

Heavy Tire Challenge

One of the toughest tasks involved lifting and carrying a 120-kilogram tire across part of the course. Competition rules clearly state that teams cannot drag, roll, or throw the tire during the challenge. Instead, officers must lift and move it while continuing forward through the obstacle route.

According to a video, the Chinese officers used a coordinated lifting method to move the tire. All the members played in time with each other, which enabled the team to keep the balance and forward momentum. The strategy enabled them to remain stable even when time was running out, and observers remarked that there was a high level of teamwork in the face of adversity.

Elite Police Selection

Reports say the women in the squad came from the Sichuan Province police force. Officials selected them through a national qualification process that included dozens of elite tactical units from across China. Their appearance at the competition marked China’s first women-only entry at the UAE event. According to video coverage shared widely online, the team’s performance sparked discussion about training standards, coordination, and teamwork in elite policing roles. Analysts pointed out that challenges like the SWAT event reward endurance, discipline, and accurate execution as much as physical strength. Due to that good performance, the performance of the Chinese team has been discussed as one of the most memorable events of the 2026 UAE SWAT Challenge.
