Going to the gym can feel intimidating, especially when surrounded by experienced and fit individuals. However, starting at the gym is simpler than it seems. Here’s a beginners guide to the gym and ways to overcome gym anxiety especially for those who fear the judgement of others:

First, define your goals. Determine whether you want a full-body workout or to focus on specific areas like legs, shoulders, chest, or back. Knowing your objectives will help you plan your routine effectively.

Next, set achievable goals. Decide how many sets and reps you aim to complete and how much progress you want to make.

Avoid overexertion by starting with manageable targets. Research different workout routines online to find the one that suits you best.

Before heading to the gym, remember to bring a water bottle, towel, and earphones. Initially, it may feel intimidating as everyone around you may appear experienced and fit.
