Flamingos And Whales Create A Rare Coastal Scene
A flock of flamingos was spotted off the coast of Puerto Madryn, where the birds shared the waters with the whales that visit this part of Argentine Patagonia each year, in a striking dawn scene.
Footage filmed on Tuesday shows the flamingos swimming at the surface of the sea as the first light of the day illuminated the coast. Shortly after, the birds took flight with uniform movements in a natural spectacle.
A Stunning Display Of Nature At Sunrise
The contrast between the flamingos’ pink, the blue of the sea and the colours
of dawn created an unusual picture at one of Argentina’s leading marine wildlife-watching destinations.
Puerto Madryn’s Unique Wildlife Diversity
The simultaneous presence of flamingos and whales offered a
glimpse of the diversity of species that can be observed in Puerto Madryn, located in Chubut province.
