Tired Of Waiting
A lady in Bengaluru went viral after a clip showed her fixing a deep street hole by herself. Tired of waiting for local public works to fix the lane, she took charge of the job and decided to handle the situation completely on her own terms.
The short video displays her standing next to heavy traffic with two heavy bags filled with construction items. She brought those supplies right to the spot to patch up the dangerous break in the pavement while numerous cars and motorbikes drove past her on the busy street.
Fixing The Road
She ripped open a bag of rocks and dumped them right into the hole with no tools. Right after that, she tipped a second bag of mix on top of the first layer to cover the open space completely.
Her main aim was smoothing out the rough patch so cars and bikes could roll past safely without damaging their tires or suspension systems. Heavy seasonal rains regularly wreck local streets, leaving hidden water pools that drivers miss until it is too late and creating major safety hazards across neighborhoods.
Daily Commuter Dangers
Broken pavement creates huge safety risks for walkers and bike riders all over town. Cars brake hard or swerve out of the way, stopping traffic cold.
Backups form fast as motors crawl past broken ground. Bouncing over bad pavement through gridlock wears people out day after day.
Public Reactions
People online cheered the lady on, saying she stepped up like a real hero. Others asked why regular folks have to patch town streets instead of the leaders getting it done.
Folks got mad seeing how bad the town roads look. Residents want the city to do its actual job so regular people stop fixing public property.
