A foreign man has pleaded guilty to raping his 11-year-old sister-in-law at a home in Sabah, Malaysia. The incident happened last year in May while the suspect’s wife was pregnant.

The suspect had no identification with him. He admitted to the crime before Judge Ahmad Faizadh Yahaya at the Tawau Sessions Court on Wednesday, July 1. Local media reported that the man is already serving a five-month prison sentence. This current sentence is for entering Malaysia illegally under the Immigration Act.
Details Of The Assault
The official court charge sheet states that the attack occurred in the town of Semporna. The suspect allegedly attacked the young victim at around 2:00 AM on May 2 while she was asleep inside an unnumbered house.

The court document stated that the young girl woke up during the night. She suddenly realized that someone was lying on top of her right before the rape happened. Before moving to Semporna, the victim lived with her mother in Kunak. She was later brought to Semporna to stay with her older sister. At the time of the incident, the sister was pregnant with the suspect’s third child.
Court Awaits Medical Reports
The prosecution did not offer any bail to the accused man due to the seriousness of the crime. The court has decided to keep the suspect in custody while the investigation continues.
The judge fixed August 3 for the next case mention. The court is currently waiting for the victim’s official medical report and a DNA analysis report before proceeding further. The suspect will remain in prison until the next court date.
