Trump Announces Iran Settlement
Donald Trump told reporters ‘we just made a great settlement’ with Iran speaking from the Oval Office on Thursday.

“We just made a great settlement of the war with Iran, and we’re going to be subject to finalisation of documents. We should get done over the next few days. Probably have a signing maybe in Europe,” he said.
Agreement Awaits Finalisation
It came after Trump announced he had ‘cancelled’ tonight’s attacks on Iran, after the sides exchanged strikes the previous evening – and also earlier in the week following the Apache helicopter crash, which the US blamed on an Iranian drone.

Tehran has been targeting US bases and assets in the region – in Bahrain, Jordan and Kuwait.
Iran has not commented on Trump’s latest announcement at time of publication.
