The Brazil national football team held an open training session in Morristown on Monday, a day after their victory against Egypt in a friendly match ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Footage shows the Brazilian squad entering the sporting complex, while photojournalists are seen taking pictures of the players. Goalkeepers Weverton and Alisson Becker practised shot-stopping, while the rest of the squad performed warm-ups.

Neymar Included in Ancelotti’s Squad

On May 18, Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti announced the squad, including injury-plagued superstar Neymar Jr. in the official 26-man squad for the World Cup.

Despite his injury woes, Ancelotti has made it clear that the Santos forward will not be excluded under any circumstances. However, he added that if Neymar is not fit for the opening match, the team will be patient and aim to have him return for the second group-stage fixture.

Brazil Chasing Sixth World Title

Brazil is the most successful nation in the history of the FIFA World Cup, with five titles. However, their last victory came in 2002, and they are desperate to end the 24-year drought.

The Selecao will kick off their World Cup campaign on June 14 at New York’s MetLife Stadium against Morocco.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is set to begin on June 11 in Mexico. The tournament will be played across the United States, Canada, and Mexico in an expanded 48-team format.
