Despite previously saying that he had no intention to remarry, Aamir Khan seemed to have change his mind, as he announced that he will be marrying his girlfriend, Gauri Spratt.
In a recent report by Hauterrfly on 3 June, it was revealed that the actor-producer and his lady love will be holding a private wedding ceremony on 5 July, surrounded by family and close friends.
A source stated, “Aamir and Gauri have been living together as a family for a little over a year now. They have built a happy, stable life together and decided to mark it formally with their families present.”
Aamir first introduced Gauri to the world on his 60th birthday. However, at the time, the actor said that marriage might not suit him in his 60s, but added, “Let’s see.”
Prior to Gauri, Aamir was married to filmmaker Kiran Rao for 16 years. They have one son named Azad. He was also married to Reena Dutta early in his career, which ended in 2002. He and Reena are parents to Junaid and Ira Khan.
