One photo, taken just two days before the accident, carried a caption reflecting on how quickly life can change.

“Funny how this picture was taken two days before the darkest day of my life,” he wrote.

“I Thought It Was My Last Day”

The incident happened on 15 May in a bushy area behind his home in Taman Melaka Perdana, Ayer Keroh.

According to Kosmo, he was crossing a concrete-covered drain to retrieve something when the cover suddenly gave way beneath him.

In an earlier statement, he clarified that he had not been trying to rescue a cat, contrary to initial reports.

Naim said the drain was much deeper than previously reported, estimating it to be around 12 metres deep.

He was trapped inside for almost three hours before firefighters managed to rescue him.

“The time I was in there, I remember thinking it was my last day because nobody could hear me screaming,” he recalled.

He previously revealed that he suffered serious injuries, including a torn knee.

He was thankful to have survived the fall, despite the severity of the accident.

On one of the posts, he admitted that the pit was deeper than he anticipated, but he was thankful to be alive.

Support Pours In

There were numerous messages of encouragement and relief in his posts.
Some said his survival was a miracle; others wished him a speedy recovery and praised the rescue team that helped bring him to safety.
