Argentina Arrives in Kansas City
Argentina men’s national football team arrived at the Origin Hotel in Kansas City on Sunday morning ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Footage shows dozens of fans gathered in front of the hotel to welcome the players, and cheering when they see the bus passing in front of them. The video also features security officers and hotel staff finishing preparations to welcome the team.
The team is supposed to have its first training session at the Sporting Kansas City facility on Monday.
Friendly Match Ahead of World Cup
La Albiceleste, the reigning world champions, will use Kansas City as their preparation hub before a friendly against Honduras in Texas on June 6, ahead of their World Cup opener against Algeria on June 17.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 will be held from June 11 to July 19 across the United States, Canada and Mexico – the first tournament to be hosted by three countries and the first to feature 48 national teams.
