Pilgrims Gather At Mount Arafat For Hajj
Hundreds of thousands of pilgrims gathered at Mount Arafat on Tuesday for the most important ritual of the Hajj pilgrimage.
Drone footage shows believers arriving at the sacred site, where pilgrims were seen praying, supplicating and seeking forgiveness.

The Day of Arafah falls on the ninth day of Dhu al-Hijjah, one day before Eid al-Adha, and is considered the spiritual climax of Hajj. Pilgrims remain within the boundaries of Arafat until sunset.
Security Teams Manage Massive Crowds
Security teams accompanied pilgrim convoys and were deployed along vehicle routes and pedestrian paths to manage crowd movement and ensure a smooth journey to the site, reported local media.

Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam and is required of Muslims who are physically and financially able to perform it. Its main rituals include standing at Arafat, spending the night at Muzdalifah and the symbolic stoning of the devil.
