Presented by Anticipate Pictures and Filmhouse, The Voice of Hind Rajab, directed by acclaimed Tunisian filmmaker Kaouther Ben Hania, will open exclusively at Filmhouse on June 4 with limited screenings.
The powerful docudrama revisits the story of six-year-old Hind Rajab, whose final moments during the war in Gaza drew global attention in early 2024. On January 29 that year, volunteers from the Palestinian Red Crescent received an emergency call from a young girl trapped inside a vehicle under fire, desperately waiting for help.
Made with the support of Hind’s mother, the film reconstructs the events using first-hand testimonies, transcripts, scripted re-enactments and the actual recorded calls between Hind and Red Crescent volunteers.

Ben Hania is known for blending fiction and documentary storytelling. Her previous work, Four Daughters, earned an Academy Award nomination after premiering at the Cannes Film Festival.
The film has already received major international recognition, including an Oscar nomination for Best International Feature Film and top honours at film festivals in Berlin and Venice.
For those who followed Hind Rajab’s story as it unfolded, The Voice of Hind Rajab offers a deeply personal retelling that brings her voice back to the screen.
