Massive Blaze Engulfs Volume Club Building
Massive flames tore through the Volume Club karaoke bar in Hanoi on Monday, reducing the building to ruins and leaving one person dead.

Footage shows police officers securing the area as firefighters worked to contain the blaze, which sent plumes of thick smoke over the area. Locals and journalists gathered behind barricades nearby to watch the rescue operations.
Witnesses Describe Rapid Spread of Fire
“Around 10:00 am, residents started seeing smoke coming from cracks in the doors, so they called the fire department, and within about five minutes, three fire trucks arrived,” said witness Thanh Hoang.

“The fire inside seemed quite complicated. More fire trucks arrived later, but the fire was already out of control. The fire was finally extinguished completely around 4:00 pm this afternoon, and rescue efforts are still ongoing,” he continued.
Authorities Investigate Cause of Hanoi Blaze
The fire gutted the building on Phu My Street, leaving behind charred debris and collapsed floors. Preliminary investigations suggest the blaze may have been sparked by an electrical short circuit, according to local media.

Authorities sealed off the area, searched for possible victims and brought the fire largely under control by noon. Meanwhile, the exact cause remains under investigation.
