During the annual Thingyan Festival, people across Myanmar celebrate with water, music, and joy. This year, in Mandalay, two small dogs became an unexpected highlight of the festival. Their playful reactions to water splashing brought smiles to many people on the streets.
A Fun Moment on the Road
The scene happened as the dogs were riding in a car with their owner. When the car stopped near groups of people celebrating, the dogs looked out through the open window. They seemed curious and excited as they watched people throwing water at each other.

The owner then allowed the moment to continue by stopping the car near the crowd. This gave people a chance to gently splash water toward the dogs. Instead of feeling scared, the dogs responded with energy, barking and moving around happily inside the car.
Crowd Enjoys the Surprise
People nearby quickly noticed the unusual sight. It is common to see friends and families enjoying water together during the festival, but seeing dogs join the fun made the moment special. Many people laughed and smiled as they carefully splashed water toward the animals.

The dogs, with their heads out of the window, appeared to enjoy the attention. Each time water reached them, they barked loudly, adding to the lively atmosphere. Their reactions made the situation more entertaining for everyone around.
Joy Continues After the Ride
As the car moved along the street, more people saw the dogs and reacted with delight. Some waved, while others waited for another chance to splash water. The simple interaction created a shared moment of happiness among strangers.

Even after returning home, the dogs were still active and playful. They did not seem tired from the experience. Instead, they continued to move around with excitement, as if they were still part of the celebration.
The Thingyan Festival is known for bringing people together, and this small moment in Mandalay showed how even animals can become part of the joyful spirit.
