On 28 March, China’s ZXMOTO surprised the world at the World Superbike Championship in Portugal. The team won two races in the tough Supersport class, beating big names like Ducati, Yamaha, and Kawasaki by almost four seconds.

Zhang Xue, a former mechanic, made his dream come true. The win attracted attention to their performance, but within a short time, another fact attracted the attention of people.
An Unexpected Find on the Motorcycle
Almost all viewers were watching the race, and a small logo on the motorcycle of the rider Zhang Xue was noticed. The logo was Mayang Ancient Brown Sugar. In professional racing, large commercial sponsors are typically placed in such spaces.

This caused a lot of people to think that it was an ordinary business ad. The reality of the logo was quite the contrary. According to Zhang Xue, the space was not sold. Rather, he gave it away to assist citizens of his village of origin. They use simple techniques to make the traditional brown sugar.
Local Farmer Support
Zhang Xue was interested in taking action to assist his community and demonstrating their product to more people. He drew attention to the work of local farmers by putting the name on his motorcycle. His move made a small village product that is seen all over the world.

Due to the victory of the team in the race, the name attracted the attention of numerous people when celebrating. This assisted the product to be well-known outside its home country. The story soon went viral as other people heard about the rationale behind the advertisement.
Good Post-Race Impact
Following the incident, the demand for Mayang Ancient Brown Sugar shot up. In a couple of days, the product was sold in big volumes. There were numerous new orders to the villagers who had had a hard time selling their goods in the past. Meanwhile, the two wins validated the good performance of the ZXMOTO team.

This is a high-skill and high-technology level of competition. Two victories indicated that the team is able to compete with the best international riders. The team has since gone back home and is training on the competitions to come. In the meantime, the village is grappling with an increased demand for its product, which has come in unexpectedly as a result of the race.
