Residents on a quiet street in the Upper East Side of New York City recently enjoyed a very special sight. While walking home, people discovered a large group of dogs sitting together on the steps of a beautiful brownstone house.
The dogs were not just resting; they were part of a professional-looking Easter photo display that stopped everyone in their tracks.
A Beautiful Spring Display
The front of the house was decorated with a massive arrangement of spring flowers. Large yellow, pink, and purple blossoms climbed up the doorway, creating a bright backdrop.

Nestled among these flowers were more than ten dogs of different breeds and sizes. Many were poodles or “doodle” mixes with curly fur, but there was also a large black Labrador and a small Boston Terrier joining the group.
To make the scene even more festive, almost every dog wore special holiday accessories. Most of the pups had pink and white rabbit ears on their heads.
A few others wore colorful blue bandanas around their necks. Even with so many animals in one spot, the dogs sat incredibly still and calm. They looked directly at the cameras as people stopped to take photos and videos of the unusual “bunny dog” group.
Bringing Joy to the City
The display was so large that it took up most of the stairs and part of the sidewalk. Passersby were amazed at how well-behaved the animals were.

A few people in the crowd helped organize the dogs, ensuring they stayed in their positions for the perfect shot. Beside the stairs, a large prop of a soft-serve ice cream cone added to the playful and whimsical atmosphere of the event.
Sharing the Holiday Spirit
Witnesses described the moment as a heartwarming surprise during a normal, busy day. In a fast-moving city like New York, seeing such a peaceful and cute scene is rare. The owners spent a lot of time preparing the decorations and training the dogs to sit together safely.

This creative display brought a touch of nature and animal companionship to the brick and stone streets of the neighborhood.
The dogs seemed to enjoy the attention from the growing crowd. As the sun shone on the red brick buildings, the colorful flowers and the “bunnies” became the most popular attraction on the block. It was a perfect way to welcome the new season.
