Malaysian people are currently celebrating the holy month of Ramadan with a very tall and crispy food surprise. Local social media users are sharing many photos of a giant roti tisu that looks like a real skyscraper.

This sweet and thin flatbread is a very famous snack in Malaysia, but its new height is shocking everyone this year. Many people are visiting local food stalls just to see this amazing bread tower with their own eyes. It is very popular now because it looks so different. People enjoy the crunchy texture while they wait for their morning fast to break.
Viral Video Clips
A TikTok creator named Shirahairul shared a video of this massive meal on 8 March. In the video, the Roti Tisu is so tall that it almost touches the ceiling of the outdoor stall.

According to the video by shirahairul, the bread stands perfectly straight even though it is very thin. The creator joked that the bread was so high he might need to stand up just to eat the top part of it. The height is truly incredible and attracts many young customers. Everyone wants to record a video of the chef making this giant bread.
Competitive Food Stalls
Local Mamak stalls are famous for their creative cooking and friendly competition. These shops never want to lose when they make the best or biggest food for their customers. These stalls are pushing the limits of traditional recipes to make customers happy every single night. This “determined not to lose” spirit is exactly why these Roti Tisu towers keep getting taller and more popular every day.

Chefs work very hard to balance the thin dough so it stays upright for the guests. It takes a lot of skill to make sure the tower does not fall over.
Perfect Sahur Meal
Roti Tisu is now a favorite choice for Sahur, which is the important meal before the daily fast begins. It provides a quick boost of energy because it is sweet and very light. While many people usually eat heavy rice dishes, this crispy bread offers a unique and fun alternative for families.

It has become one of the most photographed foods in Malaysia this month because it looks so impressive on camera. People really enjoy sharing this tasty treat together in the quiet moments just before sunrise.
