Shocking Market Crash

Residents near Pasar Kaget in Binjai City faced a frightening scene early on 16 March. A Honda Brio that was white and had the plate number of BK 1796 RAA lost control and hit several stalls that belonged to some vendors. The small market was still running at that time, and a number of sellers were making or completing their business.

The car struck at least four stalls in a few seconds, and carts were smashed and goods were lying on the road. Others rushed around the destroyed area to see what had happened; others ran to avoid being hit, and those who were close to them rushed to prevent the shock. According to sources, the crash was extremely quick and left little time to respond to it.

Erratic Driving Behavior

Prior to the accident, people saw something poisonous in the car. This was not a straight line, but the car traveled in a zig-zag manner through the busy street. This unusual motion had already raised the concerns of people even prior to the accident. In the next few seconds, the driver lost complete control and crashed head-on into the stalls at the roadside.

The vendors were not able to halt the vehicle and save their property on time. The case study research revealed that avarice was the primary cause of the issue. The case study research showed that the main cause of the problem was avarice. The speed of the vehicle and its direction were such that it posed more danger to all people in the vicinity.

Driver In Pajamas

With the crash, the crowd was soon around the car. As soon as people saw the driver, they were surprised. The woman, denoted as W, was put in pink pajamas when the accident occurred. Many witnesses noticed this peculiarity.

The residents thought she was drunk because her behavior appeared to be unstable. She did not seem to be able to drive the car in the right way. There were no reported injuries even though the damage was serious. But the picture was disorganized, the items were scattered all over the street, and some of the stalls were in a very poor condition.

The start of the police investigation

Law enforcement agents came shortly after the accident to bring the situation in check. People had begun to get restless, and the police had to do all they could to avoid escalation. They took the driver hostage and took her along with the vehicle to a local police station. The case is now under the Binjai Traffic Police, which is still investigating it. The officers will conduct tests, such as a urine test, to ascertain whether alcohol had a hand in the crash. This incident has caused tens of millions of rupiah worth of financial damages, and it can be said that it is a somber event in the life of local vendors.
