In Dubai Mall, the city is normally a busy place, but it is not the same. The mega shopping mall, which has been characterized by congested corridors and lengthy queues, is now very silent. The change can be felt by visitors walking inside the building because the noise that was commonly there has been substituted by silence.

A lot of individuals visit Dubai where they shop, eat and visit popular places. The shopping center can also be referred to as one of the most active locations in the city. But nowadays, the space is less congested and open, making visitors have a rare and quiet experience.

A Rare Quiet Moment

The stores remain open within the mall, and the lights are still on. Luxury brands and local shops are available to receive the customers. The iconic aquarium and indoor fountain are still attentively received, yet there are fewer people present, which makes it all that slower and more relaxed.

This is a calm period that enables the visitors to move at their own pace. They have an opportunity to take pictures, visit shops, and relax in the design of the building without any stress. This serene atmosphere is a welcome change for some.

The number of tourists slowly declines.

The explanation of this strange quietness could be the recent tension in the country. It is reported that Iran attacked a military base belonging to the United States in Kuwait. The news has brought issues of safety in the surrounding communities.

Due to this scenario, the number of tourists traveling to the UAE is reducing. Other tourists have chosen to postpone or cancel their travel. Consequently, the number of people is decreasing in such popular locations as Dubai Mall.

The mall still functions as usual, although there is a slight decrease in the noise level. Diners are operating meals, stores have sales, and entertainments are not closed. Nevertheless, the shift in the number of crowds is so evident, particularly in a destination that is reputed to be one of the busiest in the world.

Until, the quietness of Dubai Mall is a sharp contrast to its normal vibrancy. It is a unique experience when it can be seen that global events can affect the most popular destinations and in the shortest amount of time.
